The Right Laser for the Material, Mark and Finish.

Laser engraving is not one-size-fits-all. Different wavelengths interact with materials in different ways, so we choose the system that best supports the substrate, contrast, depth, speed and visual result your project requires.

CO₂ Laser Engraving

Ideal for wood, acrylic, coated materials, leather, rubber, glass and many organic substrates. CO₂ systems are excellent for signage components, awards, templates, custom gifts, branded merchandise and precision cutting.

MOPA Fiber Laser Marking

Our MOPA system provides precise control for metals and select plastics, including dark marking, annealing, fine detail and color effects on compatible stainless steel. It is well suited to tools, tags, plates, serialized parts and premium branded metal goods.

Infrared Laser Marking

Infrared laser processing can create clean, controlled marks on materials that may not respond well to standard visible-light diode systems. It is especially useful for select plastics, coated surfaces, electronics-related parts and small detailed components.

Frequently asked questions

Laser Engraving FAQ

Answers to common questions about materials, artwork, quantities and customer-supplied items.

What materials can you laser engrave?

Depending on the laser system, we can process many woods, acrylics, leathers, coated metals, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, glass, rubber, paper and select plastics. Material composition varies, so final compatibility may require review or testing.

Can you engrave customer-supplied items?

In many cases, yes. Customer-supplied items must be reviewed for material safety, coatings, geometry and replacement risk. We may recommend a test area or sample whenever the material is uncertain.

What file type should I send?

Vector files such as AI, EPS, SVG or print-ready PDF are preferred. High-resolution black-and-white artwork may also work. We can help recreate or prepare artwork when needed.

Can laser engraving include logos, serial numbers or QR codes?

Yes. We can engrave logos, variable names, sequential serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes when the size, material and contrast support reliable readability.

Do you accept small quantities?

Yes. We handle one-off custom projects as well as repeat and volume orders. Setup, testing and artwork requirements may affect the unit cost on very small runs.

How durable is a laser-engraved mark?

Durability depends on the substrate and process. Marks created directly in or on the material are generally more permanent than printed labels or surface-applied graphics, but exposure, abrasion and chemicals should be considered during material selection.
